


The Ministry of Commerce made clarification on the guidance made at a meeting of the State Administration Council [SAC] at its work coordination meeting at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.
In this meeting, Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo clarified the guidance made at the State Administration Council’s working coordination meeting on undertakings within the 6-month period. In regard with undertakings of the 1st 6-month period of 2022 of the Ministry, the Union Minister stressed that since trade and investment are the engine of growth for the country's development, inclusive trade for national development is the vision of the ministry.
He called on attendees to make plans for the future, to get quality products and export increased quantity of the products, to protect interests of the country, to gain more markets and to further improve trade relations with trading partners.
Also, Deputy Minister U NyunAung explained the current trade conditions, working conditions of the working committees in which the Ministry is participating and the rules and regulations to be followed by the employees of the ministry. The permanent secretaries and the director generals of the departments presented the working conditions of each department and the processes to be carried out in the future.
