Meeting for e-Government: Union Minister addresses e-ID System meeting

Chairman of the e-ID System Work Committee Union Minister for Labour U Myint Kyaing addressed the Committee’s 4th coordination meeting on Tuesday.

In his address at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister highlighted the important role of the e-ID System for implementation of the e-Government.

He also explained 6 biographic facts and 3 biometric facts collecting process for issuance of Unique ID for citizens aged above 10, associate citizens, nationalized citizens, national verification cards holders, foreign registration card holders and permanent residents.

The meeting continued with explanation on implementation of the e-ID system and related-works as well as discussions on law, procedures and purchase e-ID technical equipment. The meeting ended with the Union Minister coordinating the explanation and discussions.
