Illegal Trade: Illegal vehicles and goods seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th of September, illegal vehicles, sport suits, shoes, foodstuffs and ironwood were seized on Yangon-Myawaddy highway and at Myanmar Industrial Port container inspection camp as well as on Yangon-Mandalay highway, at Sagaing Township gate and at Khabaung forest reserve in Toungoo Township.

In total, illegal vehicles, goods and ironwood worth over 135 million Kyats were confiscated. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
