Sport Sector: Final match for Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup

Final match of the inter-basic education high school football tournament for the Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup took place in Mawlamyaing.

State Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun and many other officials as well as teachers, students and football enthusiast watched and enjoyed the match. In the final match, the KwayWan Basic Education High School team drew 1-1 against the No. 6 Basic Education High School team in normal time, and the KwayWan team beat the No. 6 School team 4-3 in penalty shootout.

After the final match, cash prizes and awards were presented to referee, umpire, down judge, line judge, field judge, side judge, back judge, best team award, best player awards and the Cup to the KwayWan Basic Education High School team.
