Aid for the Public: Rice, cooking oil and eggs on sale at fair prices

Under the arrangement and supervision of the Yangon Region Government, rice, cooking oil and eggs are on sale at fair prices in 44 townships.

In Sanchaung Township, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and ministers inspected the sale at 3,200 Kyats for 2 pyi of rice, 2,650 Kyats for 50 tickle of cooking oil and 1,750 Kyats for 10 eggs in MoneLatSaungGone (South) Ward for over 300 households.

The Chief Minister also inspected the sale in No. 6 Ward of Kamayut Township for over 200 households and in No. 4 Ward of Hlaing Township. There, he also stressed importance of adherence to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines and distributed masks for free.
