Marine Transportation: Shipyards inspected and meeting with staff

Union Minister for Transports and Communication Admiral Tin Aung San, together with officials, visited Dala Shipyard on Saturday.

Officials reported on repair of ships, demolishing of old workshops, maintenance works, proper flow of water and sanitation measures.

The Union Minister instructed for cleanliness of the environs, constant maintenance works and better work process. They then arrived at Marine Administration Department in Botahtaung Township, and met with the staff.

He explained the work implementations in line with the road map and objectives of the government.

The Union Minister urged all to make constant learning to be skillful in their professions, and to carry out the tasks in unity to meet the mission and vision of the department.

The Union Minister and party later visited Dagon Seikkan Shipyard, and inspected the workshops, repair of ships, distribution of oxygen and worksite safety measures.
