Media Industry: MOI Union Minister met staff in Mandalay

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with the staff of departments under the ministry in Mandalay on Friday. The Union Minister said the impact of media industry is very huge and it is needed to carry out the tasks with great cautious and skillfulness.

He stressed the needs to inform about the political, economic and social conditions being carried out the government to the public, and to combat the fake news by various means. The Union Minister later inspected the printing room, Computer to Plate Room and Advertisement Division of the Press House (Mandalay).
