COVID-19 Update: 187 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 8

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 187 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 9,480 patients within 24 hours. Among the new cases, 5 cases are those who come from abroad and the rest 182 cases are the local transmissions, it’s stated.

At the time of the report, no patient died due to the disease while 88 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 616,210 with 19,442 deaths and 593,071 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
