
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 223 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 9,808 patients within 24 hours. Among the new cases, 14 cases are those who come from abroad and the rest 209 cases are the local transmissions, it’s stated.
At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 135 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 616,023 with 19,442 deaths and 593,983 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
