Financial Procedures Clarified: Rakhine State CM Attended The Clarification

The clarification on the financial procedures for the investment capital from the National Economic Promotion Fund was held at the Rakhine State Government Office Meeting room in the morning on September 7 and attended by the Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min, state cabinet members, deputy director general from the Budget Department under the Ministry of Planning and Finance and state level departmental officials.

At the event, the Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min said that Rakhine State was allocated 10 billion Kyats as the invest capital from the National Economic Promotion Fund. The Rakhine State government will carry out in line with the 8 basic principles in the directive regarding with the invest capital from the National Economic Promotion Fund. In the implementation of planning works with the cash assistance from the National Economic Promotion Fund, the financial procedures, existing financial rules and regulations and directives must be complied.

Deputy Director General U Naing Naing Win from the Budget Department under the Ministry of Planning and Finance clarified regarding the invest capital from the National Economic Promotion Fund.

Then, the cabinet members, state level departmental officials raised questions on what they wanted to know about spending the invest capital from the fund and the deputy director general replied the queries, it’s reported.
