Meeting With Faculties And Students: Inspection tours to Taungdwin Gyi and Nat Mauk

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint looked into the offices of Information and Public Relations Department in Taungdwin Gyi and Nat Mauk Townships on 6th September and met with the staff.

On arrival at the Community Center of the Information and Public Relations Department in Nat Mauk Township of Magway Region, the Deputy Minister looked into functions of the center and observed the esassy competition marking the World Day against Trafficking in Persons and encouraged to the participating students.

The Deputy Minister then viewed around mini museum, the display of art materials and related things in the community center, preparation for books and periodicals, children’s reading room and gym as well as conducting computer training course for the youths in the training hall and gave necessary instructions.

The Deputy Minister met with faculty members and students at No.1 Basic Education High School in AungLan and discussed academic matters. Then, he looked into the school library and stressed the needs on encouragement to students’ reading.

Likewise, the Deputy Minister met the region education officer, the Director of Information and Public Relations Department, the township administrator, the township level officials, faculty member and students at the No.1 Basic Education High Schools in Nat Mauk. At the periodicals presented by the Ministry of Information for the school librarires and the sports equipment presented by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs for the students. During the meeting with teachers and students, the Deputy Minister stressed the needs on striving for learning opportunities for all school going age students and to become outstanding students who can reliable for the State through constant learning.
