COVID-19 Update: 95 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 5

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 95 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 7,884 patients within 24 hours. Among the new cases, 5 cases are those who come from abroad and the rest 90 cases are the local transmissions, it’s stated.

At the time of the report, there’s one patient who died due to the disease while 22 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 615,654 with 19,441 deaths and 593,816 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
