Oil and Natural Gas: Thaketa Offshore Supply Base inspected

Union Minister for Energy U Myo Myint Oo, together with officials, visited Offshore Supply Base (Thaketa) under Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise in Yangon Region on Sunday.

They inspected the warehouses that support equipment for exploration of oil and natural gas at the inland plots and benefit-sharing projects, jetty, dry dock yard and floating pontoon.

They also inspected the welding training, being conducted at the Technological Training School which is providing skill training related to oil and natural gas. A total of 250 trainees have completed the skill training courses so far.
