COVID-19 Update: 70 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 4

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 70 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 6,464 patients within 24 hours. One patient has died due to the disease while 49 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 615,559 with 19,440 deaths and 593,794 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
