Drugs Seizures: Narcotics seized in some townships

A combined team comprising of Sagaing Region Police Force seized 1.3 million Pseudoephedrine and 360-litre of Ethyl ether while searching Hinda Fit car and a 12-wheel vehicle on the motor road near Kaung Hmu Taw pagoda in Sagaing on 30th August.
Moreover, police confiscated 10,000 stimulant tablets in Hlaing Thaya (West) Township, 0.02 kilos of heroin and 2,800 stimulant tablets in Kutkai and 27,380 stimulant tablets in Moe Meik Township on 1st September. Actions were taken against the culprits in line with the Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law.
