Cooperation in Hotels & Tourism: Union Minister meets Chinese delegation

The Chinese tourism market is one of the driving forces of the world's outbound tourism market in striving for seeking more overseas tour markets to visit more foreign tourists to Myanmar.

In 2019, the Chinese tourists are the most travelling to destinations around the world with about 155 million.  Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung received a delegation led by Director of Myanmar Representative Office of Dehong Autonomous Prefecture Chambers of Commerce Industry (Nay Pyi Taw) Mr. Li Qigui at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

At the meeting, they two sides discussed resuming of the existing tourism industries between Dehong Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province of China and Myanmar and cooperation in hotel and tourism sectors.
