MOHT Work Performance: Reviewing the work undertakings during 6 months period

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism on August 27th held a meeting to clarify the guidelines of the SAC Chairman and the Ministry’s work performance for 6 months period from 1st February to 31st July 2022.

Union Minister Dr Htay Aung said since the tasks of the ministry is providing services that contributes to economic development of the country, all staff are needed to make strenuous efforts in line with the rules and regulations.

He also stressed the needs to make close supervision for timely completion of the projects that are being implemented with foreign assistance.

He added that constant implementations have to be made for human resource development since the government is emphasizing for capacity building.

He also stressed to pay special attention for prevention of COVID-19 disease and urged all involved persons from tourism industry to join the preventive measures being carried out by the ministry.
