Agriculture & Livestock Sector: Dy Minister explains organic fertilizer production

Representatives from regions and states who took part in the discussion held by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation to improve the agricultural sector and farmers' socio-economic life through the irrigation system visited the SanWaDi organic fertilizer plant operated by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Development of Rural Areas.

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Development of Rural Areas U Myint Soe explained the guidelines by the Head of State, history of the SanWaDi organic fertilizer plant and sale and distribution of organic fertilizer in cooperation with cooperative enterprises and lotus-based and chicken manure organic fertilizer production process.

There, the representatives also visited the dairy farm and viewed the organic fertilizer production process. The Deputy Minister U Myint Soe visited the GwayPin Smart Village in Tatkone Township, viewed the smart paddy cultivation plots and gave necessary instructions.
