Construction Works: Road upgrade works and housing project

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay, together with officials, inspected upgrading of TaungNyo-KanPya (Magwe) road and maintenance of bridges on 26th August.

The Union Minister also inspected the construction of Archway at the entrance of Magwe, and instructed the needs to meet the set standard and safety measures.

The Union Minister and party later arrived at the construction site of housing project, and heard reports on the progress of works and future plans.

The Union Minister and Chief Minister instructed for timely completion of the works, meeting the set standard and work site safety.

They later viewed the the construction progress of the housing which includes 5 apartment buildings, one Community Center and a Gymnasium.

Upon completion, it could provide accommodation for a total of 160 staff and teachers from the university.
