



Over 500 highway express are running daily from over 200 highway express lines in Yangon. Yangon Region Private Transportation Supervisory Committee released the instruction to collect full data of highway passengers before they are sold the bus tickets.
Lyan Cin Mang, Joint Secretary, YRPTSC said "According to the instruction, our committee also released the instruction to the highway express lines companies. The express ticket will be sold with passengers’ name, Myanmar national registration card numbers, addresses and contact numbers. And then, the passengers are needed to check their NRC and ticket as the sitting plan when the passengers bring aboard before the vehicle leaves the terminal."
There is around 8,000 to 9,000 passengers travel with the highways expresses in Yangon every day.
