Diving from Mostar Old Bridge at night

To round off the spectacle of the 456thedition of an annual diving competition in Mostar on Sunday, several divers leaped from the 23-meter-high bridge in the southern Bosnian city after nightfall.

The divers were carrying burning torches in their outstretched hands to make it easier for the spectators to see them. The night-time jumps were not part of the competition, but just a display of diving skills for faithful spectators who gather in their thousands each year to observe the traditional event.
