Sydney Opera House reopens after renovations

The Sydney Opera House Concert Hall reopened on Wednesday after being closed for more than two years for extensive renovations. The refurbishment was the largest and final part of the Sydney Opera House's 10-year program "Decade of Renewal" ahead of the iconic attraction's 50th anniversary next year.About 2,500 people packed the concert hall to watch the Sydney Symphony Orchestra perform.The concert hall improvements included better acoustics, easier access for people with mobility needs and new theatre machinery, the Sydney Opera House said in a statement.
