








Aiming to understand the culture of the countries, to gain friendly and close relations and to build the development of students’ and teachers’ quality participation, the snacks and culture exchange 2022 was held on Monday at the Yangon University of Foreign Languages [YUFL] in Yangon.
This university offers full-time 4-year bachelor's degree programs such as Thai, Russian, Korean, Japanese, German, French, English, Myanmar and Chinese languages.
According to the 1st program, the snack event was held in the compound of the University. At that event, traditional snacks of respective countries representing 9 language departments made by students and teachers were on display and served with free tickets.
Yangon Region Advocate General U Htay Aung attended the YUFL Culture Exchange 2022, and the culture exchange show was held as the 2nd program and the students staged performances with the songs and dances representing the respective countries.
Professor (Myanmar Department), Yangon University of Foreign Languages, Dr. Wai Wai Myint said "Our Myanmar Language Department displayed the Myanmar traditional snacks including rice pudding, Mont Sein Paung and mote late pyar in Myanmar original style. We want the foreign guests to taste the Myanmar traditional snacks as the original taste. This event has the good intention for the students. Students need to improve their personal skills, not just education. It is a good result for students because they will have good personal skills such as leadership skill, cooperation, understanding and sympathy."
As Yangon University of Foreign Languages is a language learning university, the students get knowledge about the traditional culture at the time of learning the languages and as a result, it brings the good friendship and closeness between the countries.
