Healthcare Facility: New isolation ward opened at Mudon People’s Hospital

The handover and opening ceremony of a new isolation ward was held in the compound of People’s Hospital in Mudon Township of Mon State. In the ceremony, the township administrator gave an opening speech and the ward donor Daw Khin Sein explained the donation of isolation ward. Also, the department of public health (Mudon) expressed words of thanks for the donation.  

And, the donor handed over the documents of isolation ward to the medical officer of treatment department of Mudon township. The concerned officials ceremonially opened the ward. The isolation ward is 94 feet long, 33 feet wide, 16 feet high and it is a 1 storey 4-room building. For the isolation ward, the donor donated 100 million kyats, well-wishers donated over 4.6 million kyats for CCTV and Aircon, and the government donated over 10 million kyats for the installation of oxygen pipeline.
