Efforts for Resettlement: Kachin State Government provides aid

Kachin State Government has been working on rehabilitation and resettlement for IDPs and closure of temporary shelters.

In Ngwe Pyaw smart Village, 142 persons were resettled and the State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and many other officials provided aid. There, before providing the aid, the officials held talks with the displaced persons and explained the resettlement process.

And, rice, instant noodle, eggs, cash, rescue aid, face shields, hand sanitizer, mosquito nets, masks, medicines, teaching aid, Hygiene Kit, Shelter Tools Kit, Individual Hygiene Kit, Dignity Kit and many other items were provided for the 142 persons resettled in the Village.

The Village Administrator expressed words of thanks and reported on requirements including village market,  health centers, football pitch and expanded housing building. The Chief Minister coordinated with the concerned officials for the requirements.
