COVID-19 Update: 9 New COVID-19 Cases Reported On July 12

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 9 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 4,571 patients within 24 hours while 16 patients have recovered.

As of 12th July, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,760 with 19,434 deaths and 592,671 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Republic of Korea. Russian Federation and Turkiye, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:50 pm CEST, 12 July, there have been over 554 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.35 million deaths.
