Track and Field Championship: Chief Minister Presents Prizes To Winners

The final match of Taninthayi Region Chief Minister’s trophy Inter-township U-18 Track and Field Championship and awarding ceremony was held at Shwe Wei Thiri sport ground in Dawei on Monday.

The Region Chief Minister and miniisters, departmental officials, athletes and sports enthusiasts encouraged competing of men/women 100-m race and (400x4) m relay race. It was followed by prize awarding ceremony and the Regional Ministers and officials presented honoraria for the Red Cross Society who contributed their efforts for the contest and also awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners and townships for 100-m men and women race and(400x4) m relay race.

 The Region Chief Minister also presented the championship trophy to Kawthaung Township team with the highest score in the women's competition and ThayetChaung Township team with the highest score in the men’s competition.
