Drugs Seizure: Heroin, Opium Worth Over 560 Million Kyats Seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Kachin State. In Mohnyin Township of the State, over 16 kilograms of heroin and 125 kilograms of opium worth over 560 million Kyats were seized.

The seizure led to arrests of 2 men. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
