No.3 Thanlyin bridge: Bridge being Under Construction

Under the Ministry of Construction, the construction of No.3 Thanlyin bridge spanned on Bago River was being constructed to be safe and convenient for the travelers and to easily connect with the main industrial zones such as Yangon-Thilawa special economic zones.

The construction of No.3 Thanlyin bridge is being undertaken near the No-1 Yangon-Thanlyin bridge. The bridge will be 1928 meters long, 24 meters wide with four-lane. The length of approach roadway in Thakata side is 547 meters and in Thanlyin side is 188m.

The resistance of the bridge is 75tons. When the bridge construction is completed, the traffic jams in Yangon will be reduced and the socio-economic life of local people will develop, it’s reported.
