Illegal trade: Consumer goods, motorcycle seized

The effective action is being taken to prevent illegal trade under the law supervised by the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee.

The Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Task Force of Kayin State seized illegal rice cooker in total numbers of 460 on July 2, 6,000 pairs of flip-flops without paid customs duty on July 3 at Myawady trade zone. 

Similarly, without a license, a KENBO 125 motorcycle was confiscated under the authorities of Anti-Illegal Trade, leading by Myanmar Police Force in Monywa, Sagaing Region on 3 July.

The Bago Region Forest Department seized illegal timber in the Kyaukmasin forest reserve at Yedashe Township, Toungoo District.

Therefore, four cases (estimated value 5.37 million Kyats) were arrested on 2 and 3 July by the report of the Anti-Illegal Trade Steering Committee.
