New Law Office Buildings: New township law office buildings in Yangon opened

Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney General Dr Thida Oo and officials opened new township law office buildings in Yangon Region on Sunday.

First, the Union Minister, Yangon Region Minister for Natural Resources U Zaw Win, the Region Advocate General and officials formally opened new law office building of Thaketa Township.

The Union Minister and party then opened the same new office buildings in Yankin and Alon Townships and viewed around the newly facilities.

The, the opening ceremony of new township law office buildings was held at the Mingala Hall of the Yangon Region Government Office and Union Minister Dr Thida Oo gave a speech.

Officials of the companies which constructed the new law office buildings of Mingaladon, Hlegu, Thaketa, Yankin and Alon Townships handed over the documents relating to the new facilities to the Region Law officer.

It was followed by the 2nd session of the meeting between the Union Minister, the Yangon Region Chief Minister and the staff from the Region, District and Township law offices at the same venue. 

At the meeting, a video clip on the performance of the Ministry of Legal Affairs was shown. The Union Minister and the Region Chief Minister then gave speeches.

The Union Minister, the Region Chief Minister and officials presented honoraria for the staff’s children who excelled in 2021-2022 matriculation exam.

The Union Minister then met the staffs of region/district and township law offices and explained about complying with the law in prosecuting cases, abiding the code of ethics and the facts to adhere in performing their tasks.
