COVID-19 Update: 32 new COVID-19 cases reported on July 1st

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 32 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 4,767 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 7 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,628 with 19,434 deaths and 592,568 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Turkiye, Spain and Viet Nam according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:25 pm CEST, 1st  July 2022, there have been over 545 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.33 million deaths.
