COVID-19 Update: 13 new COVID-19 cases reported on June 30

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 13 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 5,559 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 22 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,596 with 19,434 deaths and 592,561 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Turkiye, Spain and Viet Nam according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:05 pm CEST, 30th June 2022, there have been over 544 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.33 million deaths.
