Social Security Board Meeting: Union Minister for Labour Calls For Cooperation

The Social Security Board under the Ministry of Labour held the national-level meeting 1/2022 on Thursday at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

There, Chairman of the national-level Social Security Board Union Minister U Myint Kyaing said that for social security, the Ministry has been implementing its tasks in cooperation with the Government, employers, employees and local and international organizations. He also explained the Board’s provision of assistance for employers and employees during the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

The Union Minister also said that all the insured workers in regions and states received the COVID-19 vaccines under the arrangement of the Ministry. The meeting continued with explanation on implementation of the decisions made in the meeting 1/2021, ongoing tasks, plans and suggestions. Accepting the constructive suggestions, the Union Minister called for cooperation for the benefits of employers and employees.
