Regional Activities: Fish Releasing Ceremony, Meeting for Waso Robe Offering

A fish-releasing ceremony was held in Shan State on Thursday. Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun and many other officials participated in this ceremony in which fishes from the Nadi  Lake of Nyaungshwe Township were released into the Inle Lake.

During this event, 200,000 fishes were released in the Inle Lake for ecosystem conservation. On the same day, at the State Administration Office in Taunggyi, the Chief Minister attended the meeting on Waso robe offering ceremony. In the meeting, the Chief Minister called on attendees to cooperate to successfully hold the upcoming robe offering ceremony on the 11th of July. And, the Chief Minister and attendees discussed preparations for the ceremony.
