Drugs Seizures: Thousands Of Stimulant Tablets, Opium Seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Kachin State, Mandalay Region, Mon State and Shan State. In Hpakant, Thazi, Kyaikhto and Tachileik townships areas of the states and region, over 66,000 stimulant tablets and 44 kilograms of opium were seized.

2 men, a woman and a Thailand citizen were arrested along with the seizures. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
