



Aiming to improve road safety measures and to reduce road traffic accidents, awareness lectureon traffic rules and regulations have been organized at the Basic Education Schools in Kamayut Township.
The awareness lecture was conducted by No.39 Traffic Police Task Force of Kamayut Township starting June 14th.
On 21st June, the awareness lecture was conducted at No.2, Basic Education High School (Kamayut).
During the lecture, the students were explained about traffic rules and regulations through educational video clips and pictures to make it easy for the students to understand.
Police Captain, No.39 Traffic Police Task Force (Kamayut), Ye Htun Aung said “The main purpose of this lecture is to educate students about traffic rules and regulations. From this lecture, those who don’t know about the traffic rules and regulations will gain knowledge and those who have already known about traffic rules will gain knowledge than before so that they can share about rules with the elders. If you follow the traffic rules and regulations, you will be safe and it’s also good for vehicles’ safety and can be avoided from loss of life and property. Plans are underway to educate not only students but also ferry drivers about traffic rules.”
Students from elementary to high school levels joined the awareness lecture, dedicating to gain full of knowledge about traffic rules.
Student , No. 2 B.E.H.S (Kamayut), Thu Shun Lae Naing said “From this lecture, we gain knowledge about traffic rules and how to drive cars properly without using mobile phones. Thanks to officials for this awareness lecture to educate us about traffic rules.”
Traffic Police Task Force is making efforts for traffic clearance and also for road safety measures through coordination and cooperation for safety of the people.
By conducting awareness lecture in basic education schools, the students can share information about traffic rules with their families and neighbours.
