Manufacturing Process: Union Minister inspects factories in Mandalay

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected Pharmaceutical Factory (Inyaung) in Kyaukse in Mandalay region on Monday.

During the inspection, the managing director and the factory manager reported on functions of the factory, production of intravenous (IV) fluids and disposable syringes.

In response to the reports, the Union Minister stressed the needs to follow strictly good production methods as the medicines are being produced to provide health care of the people and systematic record and keeping of quality testing record and samples, continuous efforts for research and development tasks for operating the factories in long-term and constant learning of the staffs.

Union Minister and party then inspected manufacturing process of disposal syringes. On arrival of the Soap Factory in Yamethin, the Union Minister called for making market research on Shwe Wah soap, striving for product control and long-term running of the factory and inspected Shwe Wah brand soaps that are ready to distribute to the market and product machines.
