Monsoon Market Fair: 25 shops are on display at 10-day event in Mandalay

Aiming to boost the small and medium enterprises beyond COVID-19 period, the monsoon market fair is held for 10 days at Capital Mall in Mandalay.

Organized by the SMEs Committee under the Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the monsoon market fair is held for the 1st time, dedicating to the development of the small and medium enterprises and to revitalize the SMEs businesses.

Chairman, SMEs Committee(Mandalay), Myint Myint Than said "We held this 1st monsoon market fair with the aims to revitalize and redevelop SMEs businesses and to provide economic support. We would like to inform to the public about the activities of MRCCI as our SMEs Committee represents MRCCI. By holding such fair, we hope the SMEs entrepreneurs to actively participate and cooperate in the business."

Chairman, Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Win Htay said "This is monsoon market fair organized by the SMEs Committee and we are trying to hold this fair our best to possess their own market for SMEs entrepreneurs."

25 shops participate in the event, displaying a lot of consumer goods, foodstuff, child’s accessories, banking and financial services, electronics accessories and IT services.

Seller, HninHnin Yee said "It would be nice to display a fair about the textile businesses like this. I’m a wholesale seller. As there are a large number of wholesale buyers, the sale is high."

The monsoon market fair is teeming with buyers and sellers and will be opened from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm for 10 days till the 27thof June.
