Peace Delegation: DKBA delegation arrived in Nay Pyi Taw for Peace Talks

A peace delegation led by Commander-in-Chief Saw Steel of the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army-DKBA arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on 18th June afternoon, as Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on 22 April called for peace talks with ethnic armed organizations-EAOs to restore perpetual peace in the country and make an end to the armed conflicts.

On arrival at the Horizon Lake View Resort in Nay Pyi Taw, the peace delegation was welcomed by members of the National Solidarity and Peace-making Negotiation Committee and ethnic people from the Department of Fine Arts, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, department staff, and local people.
