Matriculation Exam Results Released: Ministry of Education announced the exam results

The matriculation examination for the 2021-2022 academic year results were released at the respective basic education high schools across the nation on 17th June. Kyi Lei Lei Aung has more.

Since 6:00 am in the morning, the lists of those who have passed the matriculation exams were put on notice boards at the respective schools.

The national pass rate is 46.88% and Yangon Region has a pass rate of 46.07% in this year.

At the University of Education Practicing High School in Kamayut Township, 168 out of 208 students who took the exam passed.

Dr. Thwe Thwe Oo, Headmistress, UOE Practicing High School, Kamayut said "One of the 6-subject distinctions students of this school ranks No.2 in the Whole country top 10 list, as well as 1st in Yangon Region. As for the school, I want my student to be 1st place in the top 10 list; however I am very happy with this result. This is because our students are very smart and studied hard in this situation. I am very happy to have achieved like this for the 1st time during my assignment at this school."

The 2021-2022 matriculation exam was held from 31st March to 9th April and over 200,000 students submission the exam at 1,238 local exam centers and 20 foreign exam centers.

Su Myat Thwin, TTC, Kamayut, 4-Subject Distinctions Winner said "I was honored in Myanmar, Chemistry, Physics and Bio subjects. I am very happy for that. I feel a little bad because I did not have distinctions for all subjects. From the beginning of the year; I studied all the old questions, unseen questions and the quiz. However, I am very thanks to my mom because she supports everything I need and my education since I was a child."

Phyu Sin Thet Hmuee, B.E.H.S,No. (5), Kamayut, 6-Subject Distinctions Winner said "I am very happy to get distinctions in all subjects and my mom, aunts and my grandmas are also happy. Also I am happy to be able to make my teacher proud too. Since the beginning of the year, I have completed the lessons day by day. I also took the exam carefully although it’s big or small. I practiced more in subjects and parts that I thought were weak. I want to be pediatrician when I was young, so I want to go to University of Medicine based on my marks."

Students can view the results on the Department of Myanmar Examination website www.myanmarexam.org.com starting from 4 am in the morning.
