






Uru River water had submerged into the lowland areas of Hpakant Township in Kachin State. Packed rice and drinking water were provided to the people who had suffered the flood.
The township disaster management department, village administration teams and social organizations had organized certain teams and handed out 2,000 rice packs and drinking water bottles to the households in NgaPyawTaw, Myoma and Ma Shi Ka Htaung wards within Hpakant Township where Uru River flood had occurred.
There were about 4 feet of flood remaining in NaPyawTaw, Myoma and Ma Shi Ka Htaung wards, while about 5 feet of flood under the Kyauk Sein Taung reinforced steel bridge and about 1 foot of flood under the Ma Shi Ka Htaung bridge.
