COVID-19 Vaccination: First dose for school children 61.47% completed

At present, the first dose of Sinopharm vaccine is being injected to the basic education students aged between 5 and 12 in the country.

From 2 to 10 June, 2,225,955 basic education students at the age of 5 to 12 had completed for the first dose, which is 61.47% completion out of the target group.

In the target group, there are around 3.62 million of basic education students and around 1 million of out of school children is aged between 5 and 12.

It is learnt that the amount of vaccination being given to adults and young people is equal, and it is planned to provide vaccination to the children aged between 5 and 12 who are not attending the school after completion the target group for school children.
