Disaster Management: Discussion on prevention, response and recovery measures

A coordination meeting of the Work Committee on Initial Data Collection, Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis of the National Disaster Management Committee was held on Thursday.

Chairman of the Work Committee, Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein gave an opening speech. The meeting later discussed the work undertakings and its progress, and collecting assessment data.

The Union Minister urged to make preparation measures for disaster prevention, response and recovery measures through the collaboration and cooperation between the concerned ministries and Region/State Governments.
