Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge: Dala Bridge’s construction processes underway

The traffic in Yangon will reduce to some extent when Myanmar-Korea Friendship bridge is completed. During construction processes of the bridge, it’s considered seriously for the long-term durability and withstands the risks of natural disasters.

Construction processes are taking place near the roads and too close with residential buildings. So, it will be undertaken within a specific period with the calculation of the level of high for vehicles and safety of working place for the people.

In 2012, former President U Thein Sein discussed the project to build Myanmar-Korea Friendship Bridge in his state visit to Korea and the project was implemented as of 2013. In 2015, the construction processes were started. The bridge is a kind of Cable Steel Bridge.

When the bridge is completed, public can easily travel from Yangon to Dala, Twantay, Kawhmu and Kun Chan Kone townships.
