Elevator Installing Completed: Installing Elevator At Hinthakone Pagoda Completed

By the leading of Bago Region Government with the contribution of the well wishers, it’s reported that the construction of elevator at the historic Hinthakone  pagoda have completed fully.

Under the admonishment of the Ovadacariya Sayadawgyis of the historic Hinthakone  pagoda, the Bago Region Chief Minister and ministers held stake driving ceremony for the construction of elevator at the historic pagoda on 12th October, 2021.

The construction work was implemented by the Building Special Unit (3) of the Ministry of Construction. The elevator installed at the historic Hinthakone  pagoda is 77 feet long, 73.5 feet height, 8.5 feet wide and 12 people can ascend and descend at the same time.

In addition, it comes up with accessibility of wheel-chair and has emergency door. As the elevator has been installed completely, it will be opened within a few days. After opening the elevator, the pilgrims from far and near can ascend and descend along the stairways as well as elevator easily and comfortably.
