Peace Progress: NDAA (Mongla) Peace Delegation Returns To Keng Tung

The peace delegation led by Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA (Mongla) U San Pae who had arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on the invitation of the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing for peace talks returned to Keng Tung, Shan State (East) on Tuesday.

The delegation were seen off at the Tatmadaw Nay Pyi Taw airport by officials of the Nation Solidarity and Peace-Making Negotiation Committee, ethnic people from the Department of Fine Arts, departmental staffs and locals who want peace by holding miniature State flags and placards bearing: “Perpetual peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union”, “Only the ethnic nationalities are in unity, stability, peace and tranquility will be achieved”.

On arrival at Keng Tung airport, the peace delegation was welcomed by the Commander of Triangle Region Command and party, departmental staffs, political parties and local ethnic people.
