Bilateral Relations: Newly Appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador Met

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr. J. M. Janaka PriyanthaBandara at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 7th   June.

During the call, the Union Minister congratulated the Ambassador for the latter’s appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to Myanmar. They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the friendly bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, as well as closer collaboration in regional and multilateral contexts including the BIMSTEC and the United Nations.
