Academic Affairs: Trainees of KyaukPhyu Education Degree College Met

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe together with Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr Aung Kyaw Min, the state cabinet ministers and officials visited Kyauk Phyu Education Degree College on Tuesday morning.

There, the Chief Minister and party met faculty members of the college, the State/District/Township Education Officers and 1st year first and second semester trainees.

On the occasion, the Union Minister stressed the needs on nurturing the students in Rakhine State to become educated ones and good people, training them regardless of rich or poor, teaching them not only in school lessons but also to be patriotic and civilized ones.

The Rakhine state Chief Minister discussed efforts for the development of education sector in the state. Later, the Union Minister and party visited No.1 primary school in Kyauk Phyu Township and viewed students learning peacefully. They then proceeded to Basic Education High School (Min Pyin) and met with State/district/township education officers, principals and teachers and town elders.

At the meeting, the Union Minister said that the Ministry is fulfilling the needs for learning of the students with peace of mind. He urged the teachers to train the students based on goodwill and passion for their education. The principals and town elders asked about further information on which the Union Minister fulfilled the needs. The Union Minister and party then inspected basic education middle schools and provided the needs.
