Drug Seizure: Heroin worth 320 million kyats seized in Naung Cho

A combined team of anti-narcotic drugs unit seized 21.6 kilos of heroin worth 320 million kyats on board of a Fuso truck running from Thibaw to Mandalay near the Oriental toll gate at the entrance of Naung Cho on Mandalay-Lashio motor road in Naung Cho Township, Shan State (North) on 3rd June.

According to interrogation, the seized heroin was transported to Mandalay from Shan State (North) and investigation is underway to expose the culprits.
